In this weeks Ground Contact series Sam will be looking at examples of poor ground contact.

Ground contact often overlooked, but it is crucial for getting the most from your training and performing well. Poor ground contact can lead to injury, inefficiency and a reduction in performance.

Give the video a watch and compare it to your ground contact, do you need to focus more attention in this area of your training?

Your ground contact could be poor for a number of reasons:

  • Bad habits
  • Bad Cuing
  • Technique
  • Over or under activation of certain muscle groups
